11/17/1974 The Ape's Song Is the Song of Love
The prime-minister has Kazuko and Yurika driven to a resteraunt but the unfriendly reaction to the humans by the customers upsets Yurika who runs back to the car. Someone is heard strumming a guitar and singing. The two humans are taken to a hotel, where again they hear the guitar and singing. Kazuko asks an ape about the guitar music. The guitarist is brought to the room, of course he's an ape.
He's surprised when they know words to the song (Some Where Love). He has them hum along with him. That night Yurika dreams of happier times and wakes calling her mother.
Meanwhile, Gôdo, Jiro and Pepe have found a village of apes who are heaving some kind of festival during which members of the village where masks that make them look human. Gebâ shows up and starts looking under masks. When he goes too far, fires a shot in the air and tries to break up the party the villagers grab him, which allows Gôdo, Jiro and Pepe a chance to sneak back out of the village. The villagers drug Gebâ, tie him up and leave him on a slab. From the bushes Gôdo, Jiro and Pepe watch to see what will happen.
