42. Henshin Disabled!?
The Hakaida Great Revolt!

Hanpei collects Kikaida's parts, but the androids are hunting for them too. Hanpei escapes the androids.

Masaru has climbed out a window but only to find he's still trapped. The only way out is too far up to climb. Hanpen lowers the pieces of Kikaida to Masaru. Masaru takes the pieces to his sister in the cell with their father's body.

Hakaida furious that his only enemy, the reason for his existance, has been taken from him, attacks Red Mine Toad. He transforms Hakaids Shot back into Destruction Blade. Hurling the blade into Red Mine Toad's body, he disables the explosive device. When Red Mine Toad tries to destroy Hakaida anyway by dropping out small mines, Hakaida shoots them, causing Red Mine Toad to explode.

Hakaida and Professor Gill

Having now destroyed one of his own, Hakaida goes crazy. After threatening Hanpei and asking him philosophical questions, "why was I made", "is there more than just killing?", which Hanpei can't answer, Hakaida goes after Professor Gill. Bent on killing his maker, Hakaida beats up Professor Gill, who to save himself says he did not make him but Dr. Komyoji did. Hakaida looks for Dr. Komyoji. Professor Gill mutters "yes, Kill him...and yourself." If Dr. Komyoji dies Hakaida will cease to function.

Kikaida, Komyoji and Hakaida

Meanwhile, Mitsuko having at first said she cannot fix Kikaida, remembers that his plans are in his computer. Reconnecting his voice wires, she gets Kikaida himself to instruct her on how to repair him. As she's working Hakaida comes pounding on the door. Hakaida eventually breaks through. Mitsuko and Masaru try to keep Hakaida away from their father's body. Kikaida drags his still legless body towards Hakaida, challenging him. Hakaida accepts the challenge but only after Kikaida is repaired saying he does not fight the handicapped.

When Kikaida is bought back together Hakaida is ready for the battle, but wants the battle to begin in human form, Saburo vs Jiro. They change forms and the final battle begins.

While Jiro and Saburo are fighting, Professor Gill orders White Bone Flying Squirrel, the last Dark monster, to kill both Kikaida and Hakaida.

After awhile Saburo tires of the battle and henshins into Hakaida to finish it. However, when Jiro tries to become Kikaida, it doesn't work.

Jiro and Hakaida Jiro and Hakaida

Hakaida is ambushed by White Bone Flying Squirrel, and defeated. Before his sysmtem shuts down, Hakaida tells Jiro he wanted to be defeated by him. Jiro carries Hakaida's body to the operating room. While Jiro, Mitusko, Masaru and Hanpei are searching for instructions on how to return Dr. Komyoji's brain to his body, White Bone Flying Squirrel appears to challenge Jiro.
