Episode 18: Brother From Another Planet
(featuring Alien Zarab)
Tokyo is threatened by the sudden appearance of a deadly radioactive fog. is disappointed when on his first day as a uniformed member of the team. Cap changes his mind about sending him on patrol with Hayata but has him stay at HQ with Fuji instead. A human sized alien appears, first on the radio than in person at SSSP HQ. claiming all inteligent beings are brothers and denying reponsabilty for the fog. It return a ship from Earth to Saturn claiming it though the crew was in peril. Too prove its friendly the Zarab sends the radioactive fog out of Tokyo into space. But once its trusted it starts trying to take over by hypnotising people. It even captured Hayta knowing he is Ultraman. With Hayata uneble to transform into Ultraman, Zarab impersonates Ultraman to attack Tokyo. The only person it wasn't concerned about controling was Hoshino. A big mistake. Freed by Hoshino, Hayata retreaves the Beta Capsule and become Ultraman.
Zapped by the Specium Ray the fake Ultraman is forced to reveal its true form as the Zarab. Ultraman and the Zarab battle on land and in the air before Ultraman proves the victor.
