Kamen Rider J

There was about 1 year between the movie Kamen Rider ZO and this movie.

Segawa, Kouji

Environmentalist reporter Segawa, Kouji (Mochizuki, Yuuta) was given the ability to become Kamen Rider J in order to defend planet Earth against the alien Fog Mother and her children, who sought to destroy it. (Before Kamen Rider J, Mochizuki, Yuuta was in "Kyouruu Sentai Zyuranger" [1992-1993]). Kamen Rider J was played by stuntman/actor Okamoto, Jiro.

The Fog Mother's oldest three children adbuct Segawa, Kouji's young friend Kana, in order to feed her to Fog Mother newly hatched offspring.

Rider Kick Rider Punch

Kamen Rider J's combat techniques are "Rider Kick" (both films) and "Rider Punch" (only named in J's second film).

Kamen Rider J

Kamen Rider J is the first (and I hope last) Kamen Rider to be able to transform into a giant form.

Kamen Rider J

Kamen Rider J was guided by a large, talking grasshopper named Berry.

J Crosser

Kamen Rider J's motorcycle was called J Crosser.

(the movie as now posted on TOEI TOKUSATSU WORLD OFFICIAL youtube channel, turn on CC for English subtitles)

The opening theme for Kamen Rider J was "Just One Love". The ending theme was "Heart Catching Love". Both by BYUE.

Blue Swat, Ninja Task Force Kakuranger and Kamen Rider J advertisement Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J

Kamen Rider J appears twice, in the movie Kamen Rider J (1994), which was shown with the "Blue Swat" and "Ninja Task Force Kakuranger" movies and in the movie Kamen Rider World (1994), an 8 minute film which pitted Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J against a giant sized Shadowmoon and severl revived human sized kaijin.

Kamen Rider J was the last Kamen Rider project Ishinomori, Shoutarou was involved with. What follows came after Ishinmori had died (January 28, 1998).
