No tribitute to the Kamen Riders would be complete without the men behind the masks
For the first 10 episodes of Kamen Rider Fujioka, Hiroshi not only played Hongo, Takeshi but wore the Kamen Rider costume and did his own stunts. After he shattered his leg in a motorcycle accident Toei hired stuntman Nakayashiki, Tetsuya to wear the Kamen Rider 1 costumes and do the stunts. In Kamen Rider V3 Yamaguchi, Akira who played Yuki, Joji actually got to wear the Riderman costume, but did not do his own stunts. In Kamen Rider X Hayama, Ryu, as Jin, Keisuke, wore the Kamen Rider X costume for the henshin sequene. Otherwise no other Kamen Rider actor actually wore the costume. Nakayashiki, Tetsuya did the stunts in Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider V3, Kamen Rider X [alternating with Nakamura, Bunya], Kamen Rider Amazon [alternating with Nakamura, Bunya], Kamen Rider Stronger, New Kamen Rider (Skyrider) and Kamen Rider Super-1.
In Kamen Rider #10'S Birth! Riders Come Together Nakayashiki, Tetsuya played Mikage, Eisuke the human form of Tiger Bazooka and wore the Kamen Rider Super-1 costume.
Nakamura, Bunya
The main suit actor for Kamen Rider 2 was Nakamura, Bunya. He also alternated with Nakayashiki, Tetsuya in wearing the Kamen Rider X and Kamen Rider Amazon costumes and substituted for him as Kamen Rider Stronger in episodes 1, 2 and 39. In addition to playing four Kamen Riders Nakamura, Bunyawas also the kaijin Sarasenian in Kamen Rider episode 4 and Reived Cobra-Man in episode 10 and Apollogeist in Kamen Rider X. He also appeared out of costume as the human form of Poison Needle Spider in the Kamen Rider V3 movie.
Kumasawa, Tushiaki
Motorcycle stunts for Kamen Rider through Kamen Rider Black were performed by professional motorcycle stuntman Kumasawa, Tushiaki.
Okamoto, Jiro
For the 1980s and 1990s the man behind the masks was stuntman/actor Okamoto, Jiro. He was Kamen Rider Black, Kamen Rider Black RX, Roborider, Biorider, Shin Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J.
